Welcome to Our Lady’s RC High School, we are a school with a distinct ethos centred upon the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The dignity of each person is at the heart of Catholic teaching; every student has their own individual strengths, gifts and talents; our aim is to ensure that these are all developed to their full potential.
We look for excellence in all aspects of learning and we expect high standards of achievement from all members of the community. We lead and innovate to make learning fun, challenging and distinctive. The relationships between teachers, students and parents are fundamental to the success of the school. Working together we ensure that students enjoy their time at Our Lady’s, make good progress and leave us as responsible, well-qualified, mature young people; ready to make a valued contribution to society.
I believe Our Lady’s is a truly excellent school; it is a place where staff are proud to work, a place where governors and parents are proud to support and a school where students are proud to belong. This year student achievement is the strongest of all the North Manchester schools.
I hope you find our website informative. We are looking to present a window into the life of the school, an opportunity to share information and to celebrate our students and their successes. If you are a prospective parent, we would like to invite you to visit our school to form your own judgement. Please contact Ms H Tkaczuk who will be happy to arrange this for you. Thank you for your interest in our school.
Success through Learning, Achievement through Faith
We were recently inspected by Salford Diocese, they looked at the religious life of our school and how we celebrate the 5 W's; Welcome, Worship, Welfare, Word and Witness.
